About Piper Strong:
Working with metals has evolved for Piper over the past decade. It is a medium that holds no limits. It defies gravity and hold its' own shape. Her drawings become metal shapes in space by torch-cutting them with a plasma-cutter and forming them with hammers. A brass relief is then applied by gas welding. Her other creative passion is colour, and she uses her sculptures to express that by hand-painting them with a water-based enamel finish. Piper hails from New England in the United States and exhibits and sells her pieces all across America.
Made of steel, brass and enamel, Piper Strong's work shows joy and fun in her expressions of Jewish functional art.
This wonderful menorah shows the bride and groom under the chupah.
It measures approximately 13" x 15" x 6".
