Internationally renowned artist, Susan Fullenbaum, creates stained glass Judaic art for Jewish homes. Each piece commemorates joyous life-cycle events, illustrates Jewish customs or is used in ceremonial life. For over 20 years, Susan has been creating her beautiful range of glass art.
Her current work focuses on themes taken from Jewish life.
White glass with the hebrew Ahava (Love) has been sandblasted and fired in a kiln, so that the letters and the heart become clear. The wine glass shards and mezuzah scroll are placed in the separate plexiglass case. The white glass with Ahava is then placed on top of the plexiglass case and the shard show through the letters. This is a very special gift for the wedding couple as they remember that very special day and the Mazel Tov after the breaking of the glass. The breaking of the glass symbolizes the destruction of the Temple as well as the fragility of marriage.
