About Gary Rosenthal:
Gary has been sculpting in welded metals for over 25 years and hails from the United States. By combining copper, brass, and steel with brilliant fused glass, the Gary Rosenthal Collection has a contemporary style rooted in tradition.
This lovely mezuzah is part of a new style of copper mezuzot. It has a bumpy design pressed directly into the metal adding a whole new dimension of texture to it. The glass wedding shards show nicely from behind the copper curl. The shin is screened in gold on glass. It measures 6.5 inches by 1 inch long. This mezuzah is part of the Broken Wedding Glass Collection. The shards from your own glass can be used in any of the Broken Wedding Glass Collection. You simply replace the shards which are in each piece with the shards from your own glass. Instructions for changing the glass are included. Very straightforward! The breaking of the glass is one of most beloved traditions of the Jewish wedding ceremony. The Broken Wedding Glass Collection was designed in honour of this age-old custom. This mezuzah is the first step in creating your own memories. Mazel Tov! A copy of the parchment is included, but it is not kosher. It can easily be replaced with a kosher scroll. Colours may vary, as every mezuzah is individually crafted by artisans from the Gary Rosenthal Studios. A perfect gift for weddings or any occasion!
