Andra studied in the USA and Germany, with her fascination in glass art beginning in Germany in 1981.  She discovered various techniques and processes, particularly glass fusion, that were originally created by the ancient Mesopotamians during the Roman era.  This process had remained virtually unused until its' resurgence in the 1970's.

In pursuing her art, she creates fun, usable art that reflects not only her personality but her practical side as well.
