Shlomit Azati founded her company as a single employee crafts business based on a Kibbutz in the Northern part of Israel. Today she is one of Israel's leading silk and textile designers specialising in the hand-dying of raw white silk.
She and her artists draw their inspiration from the landscapes of Israel and the Galilee, giving brilliant expression to their abilities in a wide range of coloured materials.
This lovely matzah cover is made from an off white polyester fabric with handpainted silk applique, making up the picture of Miriam dancing with a tambourine. A truly biblical scene. Pesach is also written in hebrew. Each matzah cover measures 15" by 15".
Colours, design, and style of lettering vary on each cover, as everyone is handmade and unique. The colour shown in picture is just an example colour. No two matzah covers are alike!
