Emily Rosenfeld's goal is to make affordable and expressive Judaica, jewellery and gifts. In her work she sees the shapes that have inspired her; plants, toys, tools and bones. Emily draws without editing until she sees a form she wants to bring to life. She uses base as well as precious metals because it encourages playfulness and experimentation. It is the joy and strength that comes from making her work, that she hopes carries and inspires others. Emily's work is given real meaning when what she creates is chosen and used by someone as a way of expressing themselves.
Emily lives and works in Western Massachusetts, USA.
This pewter locket has a contemporary Star of David and heart on the front and when you lift the locket, it says Ahava, the hebrew word for love. It holds 1 photo. It measures 1/2" by 5/8" and is on a 16" plated, antiqued chain.
This would make a perfect gift for Bat mitzvah, birthdays or any occasion.
